How Walmart Marketplace fees work in 2026
Walmart Marketplace has no fee to list. You pay a referral fee on each item you sell, set by the contract category (product type) Walmart assigns during item setup. It's a percentage of the total sales price, which includes the item price plus shipping and handling, gift wrap and other charges. Your Statements page shows each item's contract category and commission rate.
Some categories use the total price to decide one rate for the whole item (for example Apparel: 5% at $15 or less, 10% from $15 to $20, 15% above $20). Others charge different rates on different portions of the price (for example Jewelry: 20% on the first $250 and 5% on the rest).

WFS fulfillment fees (standard items)
If you use Walmart Fulfillment Services, add the fulfillment fee. For units under 1 lb Walmart uses the unit weight; from 1 lb to 150 lb it uses the greater of unit weight and dimensional weight (L × W × H ÷ 139). Add 0.25 lb for packaging and round up to the next pound.

Example
A $30 kitchen item with free shipping is in Home, Kitchen, Decor & Garden, so the referral fee is 15% × $30 = $4.50. A $300 piece of jewelry pays 20% × $250 + 5% × $50 = $52.50.
