Depop seller fees in 2026 (US, UK and Australia)

Depop charges no selling fee to sellers based in the US, UK or Australia. You still pay a payment processing fee through Depop Payments (via Stripe), and a boosting fee if the sale came from a Boosted Listing.

FeeUSUKAustralia
Depop selling feeNoneNoneNone
Payment processing (on item + shipping + any taxes)3.3% + $0.452.9% + £0.302.6% + A$0.30
Boosting fee (Boosted sales only)12%*12%*8%

*12% applies to new listings from 23 March 2026 in the UK and US. The boosting fee is charged on the item sale price (excluding taxes) plus the shipping cost if you didn't use a Depop shipping label.

Why the processing fee is bigger than it looks

The processing percentage is charged on the item price plus shipping and any applicable taxes, not on the item price alone, and the fixed part is charged per sale. On cheap items the fixed fee matters most: on a $10 US sale with $5 shipping, processing is 3.3% × $15 + $0.45 = $0.95, almost 10% of the item price.

Example (US)

A $35 item with $6 buyer-paid shipping, no tax, sent with a Depop label: processing is 3.3% × $41 + $0.45 = $1.80. If it was a Boosted sale, add 12% × $35 = $4.20. Fees deducted before payout: $1.80 without boosting, $6.00 with.

Sellers outside the US, UK and Australia (selling in other currencies) pay a 10% selling fee plus PayPal's processing fee, which varies by account, so they're not covered by this calculator. If a sale is refunded, Depop reverses its fees.

Source (official Depop Help Centre, checked 5 November 2026): Seller fees and charges. Buyers in the US, UK and Australia may also pay a separate marketplace fee at checkout; it doesn't come out of your earnings.
